The key is with the goals you set to be honest and true to what you want from your life and who You want to become then approach these things in a way that brings enhancement to your lifestyle and ensure you regularly do things that simply make you happy.

All these things you enjoy doing will also give you more drive and determination for life, they will motivate you and naturally make you want to try out more things. It’s so important to always believe in yourself and keep going ensuring you don’t just live in a comfort zone all the time and miss out on life experiences and have regrets.

For success in your goals long term It’s also so important to keep your mind at its best and fill your head with good thoughts and positivity that allow you to believe in yourself ,Be your own cheerleader and ambassador! Make sure you Hang around with people who inspire you, those that build you up and keep you motivated. It’s so true that “your tribe is your vibe ”

The other side to Making a lifestyle that is full of things that make you happy is that this will also keep you strong at times when life naturally trows things your way that aren’t so nice, in theory you will have better levels of resilience because of this change and better coping mechanisms.

Its also never to late If there are things that aren’t right in your life for you to take responsibility for that is what you do Have control over and make changes. It’s so important to Invest in yourself and embrace who you are to Strive to have the healthiest relationship with yourself and understand your mind and it’s way of thinking and functioning, and promote self belief and inner confidence.

A tip of how to keep focused is to keep logging progress steps. Write down all the changes you want to make. Then what these changes when achieved will bring you and make you feel/lead to. envisage the end results and how great you will feel! This should also remind yourself how far you have come and how near your getting to your end game.

Mark off the steps you have taken as you go along, keep a log like a diary, it’s good to have down the aims of the day and tick them off when you have done them, such as 3 things today I am going to get done that will support my goals and keep me motivated so no mater how small they may seem get them down, and tick them off. Don’t forget to have fun along the way, keep things enjoyable, change it up to stay on track there is no one size fits all, remember you are the pilot in all of this, your the one making positive changes that make things happen!

Determination must dos’ for staying on track!

So the end of January is approaching and “Blue Monday” has pasted!Hows your motivation?

Still feeling determined?

It’s so easy to hit the start of January with great intentions even a “go hard or go home approach” whatever your goals, whether it’s a new routine, job, workout, business venture or personal development journey or any chosen change you want to make this year to your life!

But you also need to sustain your aims for the long haul making them “life style choices“, which are permanent and not short lived. Unless you change your goal then that’s different!

What works now might not work in the next chapter but don’t let your motivation wear off!

Keep yourself going and motivated. We all can start our year off with good intentions but they can become short lived if we don’t give ourselves something to keep a determined mind and remember to keep your aims in site; it will make a big difference. Make a note of what and why you are doing this for, what it will lead to and remind yourself of this each time you feel a dip. Visuals are good to use and can keep you being you!

Have something to look forward to, book a break; plan a social event; sign up to a sport challenge, such as a run; have a load of small projects you want to do, a declutter or your new garden project; trying new recipes or leaning something new.

Mark your steps along the way, keep a log like a diary, however, you want to show the aims of the day and tick them off when you have done them, such as 3 things today I am going to get done that will support my goals and keep me motivated.

Have fun along the way, keep things enjoyable, change it up to stay on track there is no one size fits all, remember your the pilot in all of this, your the making of these good things that can happen!

Most things you’ll find that are positive in your life will lead to more good things in your future so focus on them.

Be aware how far you have come!

Only look back to see how far you have come every positive change has an impact no matter how small it may seem! It’s your change so own it!

2019 the “You Year”

The “You Year”when it comes to planning your new start for 2019!

The new year is almost here and it’s the perfect opportunity to make it the “you year”; find out who you want to be and make it happen!

This new year make every step count; remember goals don’t have to be too Big to be as equally important!

Remember perseverance also shows your really invested and truly want what your aiming for rather than “I should be doing this but don’t really want to”.

Keep the path true to you!

Keeping visuals on your “you year” to motivate you. Help from photos or that item of clothing you want to wear to identify yourself. You might want to have words to help describe you; such as active, healthy, happy.

Success step examples might be;

Keep a diary, have a tick-off chart for each day you did what you set out to do;

An object such as, “That dress or suit” hanging up you want to fit again and feel the best you can be;

That fun dance class that doesn’t feel like exercise but is helping you be more active;

The walk or hike with friends, which means your socialising and being active all in one go;

Have a list of new things to try, projects you want to do round the house to make you feel productive and organised.

Keep this new year fun and interesting, try new things, new activities and visit places you haven’t before, keep things motivational and moving throughout 2019!

Remember something that challenges you positively both mentally and physically is important as it links in your mind and body healthy.

Surround yourself with people that boost you to want to succeed and feel good about who you are. Take part in activities that motivate you and always have something that are also just for you “me time”

Create a list of days out for when you have free time so your ready and prepared to max the use of this time and go and do something positive and planed; such as walks in parks/gardens you may you have annual access to and surrounded yourself in some good “old free fresh air” in natural surroundings of the great outdoors.

Another really good tip is, when your in a good place ask yourself what helps you on the days where you motivation slips a little, then make note of the “go-to’s” that spur you on!

When looking at the new year 2019, remind yourself of all the steps you have already taken to get to where you are!

I love when a new year comes around and letting go of what has been and cant be changed and looking ahead at the new beginning ahead.

My diary has a clear page and a fresh start! So when it comes to the new year I have realistic but motivational goals for myself and I can’t wait.

I work out what I want to focus on by working out what are my 4 core areas of my life right now and write a positive shift I would like to make in each area of my life.

I wish you all a happy “You” year 2019!

Let Autumn be your prep for a successful winter !

With autumn well and truly here, it’s a season full of change and I use it as a season to prep for the winter and enjoy all the wonderful inspiration autumn has to offer. It’s a great time to declutter, forget spring cleaning enjoy  “Autumn Organising”.

This time of year, I like to make changes to my living environment as I know over the coming weeks I will spend more time indoors as winter approaches. I like to change items in my living space as it creates a new mood and therefore a new energy in my home. My living room is the heart of my home so I always focus on this space and of course my bedroom. Things I aim for is looking at soft lighting as this keeps me feeling positive in the darker days as unfortunately unlike summer there isn’t long amounts of natural light so this is important to me and of course colour, I tend to change colours in my home once for spring/summer and then autumn/winter, choosing colours you are drawn to is so important. Right now, I am drawn to a cosy soft grey and warm autumn pink. For my living space. I like to change my throws, cushions, flowers and try to minimise things ahead of Christmas. This also could be items you can change, update, up-cycle or find on-line with little to no cost.

Autumn for me can affect my mood I notice now that I start off feeling a little flat when October approaches. However interestingly, Autumn tends to be a great season for me personally to focus. Autumn for me has a pattern I notice where anything I set out todo goal setting wise works. It’s important to work out if you have a season which you are at your best! Make a mental log of what season works best for you, this would be a great tool and should be used when planning something that needs lot of focus and motivation, as this is when you’re at your optimum peak of positive mindset!

My Personal Autumn must dos are;

1, Take a bag and fill it with anything in your house you feel you’re ready to move on from, no-longer wear,use or need. Fill the bag and send it off to your local charity shop!

2, Try a new recipe and make something hearty to enjoy. I personally love using a slow cooker this time of year for seasonal vegetable stews, soups and dishes.

3, Pick a space in your home such as an area your drawn to and want to change. Try quick go-to changes first for example if it’s the sofa in your living room change the cushions and throw and see if it makes you feel uplifted or any different feeling to the space, more cosy, calm etc. Put up new photos and pictures that inspire the changes and new things going on in life right now, positive Visuals are great!

4, Pick a new scent, try a new perfume for you, a candle for your home, I went with an Autumn scented candle, lots of Sandalwood, Amber and burnt Orange to bring the crisp Autumn feeling in the home!

5, Have a go-to basket for inspiration and when you’re feeling inspired to do something like goal set, list right, plan-things or get creative. Have things in the basket like notebooks, pens, books, craft projects you want to do this season. This positive pod,means they are all conveniently ready for you, prep again is key!

6, With the darker night’s drawing in, I like to review my exercise routine, either get equipped for running in the dark or make routine changes and try some new remember winter creeps up on you so plan your new exercise routine now. Remember with exercise preparation is key!

7, This time of year can get expensive so maybe look at any positive changes that you can make to your shopping and outgoings, sometimes being organised with homemade lunches, prepared meals from scratch not only healthier but cost affective to, these things can really help make a positive spin on the pennies

8, Have list of things you want to go and do this season, step outside the comfort zone and do something that challenges you in a positive way, from classes, to on-line learning, reading that book, visiting new places trying a new hobby or exercise, go for it!

9, Go through your kitchen cupboards/pantry and see what you have that’s in date, but you won’t really use that you could give to your local food bank most super markets now have a trolley at the front you can give items to. You could even get some extra bits to give, I like to get pasta to add to my items I donate.

10, This is one of my favourites, get your diary full of social catch ups with all your friends, it’s so important to keep connected especially with people who make you happy!

11, Something you might want to do is set a goal that can be complete between now and Christmas or winter ask yourself,

Q: By Christmas I would like to (blank)

Fill this answer in with something you would like to achieve in these time frames.

12, I like to go through my clothing and make a capsule wardrobe (collection of a few essential items) and put a few full out fits together that I want to wear and that make me feel positive. It’s fun to sometimes get ideas for AW18 fashion, hair, accessories and makeup for inspirations.

Enjoy your Autumn Organising!
